Superman to Squeezing and cleansing:
01. Lie down on your abdomen. Stretch your arms straight out above your head. Breathe in and lift your arms, legs, and chest off the ground. Balance on your abdomen. Hold the posture for 10 counts. Breathe naturally while holding the posture.
02. Exhale and slowly lower your arms and legs to the ground. Repeat 10 times.
Little Brain Relaxation:
01. Lie on the floor or a mat, arms to the sides, palms facing upward, and feet shoulder width apart.
02. Breathe in, focusing on the chest, and slowly breathe out, relaxing the body completely.
03. Bring your hands to each of the five “little brains,” one at a time—liver, heart, stomach, kidneys, lungs. In your mind, say, “I love you,” to each of the organs. For the kidneys, slide the hands under the lower back.
04. Continue to breathe, and relax the entire body. Feel the warm energy from the hands penetrating into the body.

Lie down on the ground and relax your body completely.
Lift your legs off the ground, bending the knees and ankles at 90-degree angles. Keep your hands on your lower abdomen. Relax your shoulders and arms.
Breathe in deeply to the abdomen, causing the belly to expand. Exhale slowly, deflating your abdomen. Breathe in and out slowly 50 times.
Lower your hands and legs. Bring your hands to the liver and feel warmth in the liver area.
Bow and Arrow (for the Heart):
01. Imagine that you are holding a bow in your left hand.
02. Turn your upper body to the left and pull back on the imaginary string with your right hand. Pretend that it is a very heavy bow and difficult to pull back. Tense your muscles, breathe in deeply, and pull back with all your might. If you do this right, your muscles will shake and you might even start to sweat.
03. Exhale and release the bow. Repeat the exercise 5 times.
04. Switch hands and do the same thing on the other side of the body.

The spirit of giving back
Dahn Yoga for MS is an initiative inspired by Cathy Downie. Cathy suffered with MS for 13 years and is now volunteering her time to spread Brain Education System Training (BEST) principles and tools in the form of Dahn Yoga to people who are suffering from the symptoms of MS.
As a member of the Glendale Dahn Yoga Studio in Arizona, Cathy was able to alleviate her MS symptoms through various BEST programs including Dahn Yoga, Dahn Mu Do, Dahn Tai Chi, and Dahn Healer School among others.
The Dahn Yoga for MS program consists of stretching, breathing, and self acupressure techniques. The various poses open the joints and improve the overall blood and energy circulation throughout the body. The results are not only a reduction in muscle pain, but also spasticity, and fatigue while boosting energy and stress management.

All these things do have one thing in common, however—they were generated through the brain. John’s brain
enabled him to become a school teacher, and it is through his brain that he feels awe when standing before a powerful
painting. A symphony of sensory input and memory within his brain gives rise to his reaction to freshly fallen rain. It is also
within his brain that he stores his definition of what it means to be a man, twenty-seven years old, and African-American.
In some sense, you could say that you are your brain. Or, at the very least, the brain is the instrument through which you experience all reality. And it is through it that you interact with reality—in every motional reaction, in every choice that you make, and in every dream that you dream. Everything you
ever have been or will become is because of your brain.

A member at my Dahn center shared her experience with using the power of her brain stem.
She had met with our headmaster and discussed with him that one of the most difficult habits she’d like to change is to wake up earlier for work. After doing some brain wave training, she was advised to focus on her brain stem as soon as she wakes up in the morning and then to watch how she reacts differently.
When she woke up the next morning, she did as she was told, and amazingly enough, she felt very awake and bright at 7 am. And please let it be noted that she is someone who normally snoozes through noon….

The more I do the brain wave exercises Ilchi Lee is teaching, the more I am amazed how something so simple can make my body so relaxed and my brain so peaceful. I rely on them for my neck and shoulder tension, and whenever I want to have a more open, happy mind and attitude.

The headmaster at my Dahn center just started brain wave vibration training. He explained that, through accessing the most regular vibration of your brain stem, you can access the infinite healing powers that reside within your brain stem and the rest of your body’s cells. I also started reading Ilchi Lee’s paper on brain wave training. Click here to go to the paper.
The training was deep and pretty intense. It helped me to go into much deeper meditation than in the classes we used to have, which seemed a little ironic to me since you’re moving in constant vibration. ^^

In August, Ilchi Lee met with United Nations Secretary-General Ban, Ki-moon. The agreed that the biggest problems facing the world today are global warming, war and hunger. Ilchi Lee’s solution to these problems is treating the source– the human brain. Using Brain Education, each person can create a happy, peaceful, and productive brain. They can manage their brains well and from that learn how to manage the earth well. They will be more aware of how they are intimately connected to the earth. By paying attention to the problem of managing the earth, they will find the solutions necessary to solve these serious and ongoing problems it faces.

Ilchi Lee has been talking a lot about brain waves recently. (See www.ilchilee.com.) He also teaches that each person’s body, mind, and soul are connected. All of humanity is also connected to each other and to heaven and earth. So each person is very precious, and each person’s brain waves are very precious. Their brain waves influence their body, their environment, and what they create in their life. That’s why Ilchi Lee seeks to help each person have healthy brain waves that will make themselves and everything around them healthy, happy, and peaceful

Ilchi Lee describes how our brain works as a Brain Operating System or BOS. He is always finding new ways we can all maximize the potential of our BOS and use 100% of our brain. There are 3 laws for a healthy and efficient BOS:
1. If you choose it, it happens.
2. Good news makes a good brain.
3. Wake up and pay attention.
As always, Ilchi Lee has given us simple but profound and effective tools for our own growth and happiness. You can find more of his tools and philosophy at his official website: www.ilchilee.com.
