British rock singer David Bowie has made a significant mark on pop culture, but perhaps the his most vibrant accomplishment is the 1972 classic song Changes.
The song is about a person at a dead end who is just realizing that they have been squandering their time on Earth. Each time that person thinks they have achieved what they wanted, they were left unfulfilled, so they decided to make some changes.
"So I turned myself to face me / But I've never caught a glimpse / Of how the others must see the faker / I'm much too fast to take that test," Bowie sang.
The young person remains fascinated by the wonders of life and soon accepts the changes that occur as being necessary.
Ilchi Lee believes that success is a matter of personal responsibility. It can be easy to get caught up or distracted by the changes that occur in life, but if a person keeps their eye on the end goal and their heart in the right place, they will learn to adapt and will ultimately achieve success.
